Odia Book Exhibition (1st April 2023)
In celebration of Utkal Divas on April 1st, 2023, the Central Library at NISER arranged a special exhibition featuring a collection of Odia books. This exhibit was made accessible to all library patrons and enthusiastically embraced by readers who took full advantage of the opportunity to explore the collection.

Past Events in 2022
Inauguration of Children’s Library
Central Library, NISER setup a section for the NISER member's kids, i.e. Children's Library. It attempted to create a space where children can learn to explore various things and take some time off from digital gadgets. With books as a common meeting point, children can interact with other similar age group community of book lovers. In this perspective, the Central Library is trying to contribute to the societal cause towards inculcating better thinking and more ideas in the young future.
The Director NISER, was inaugurated the new setup on 11th December 2022 (Sunday) at 11.00 AM on the Second Floor of the Library Building.

Webinar Session on Grammarly
Central Library, NISER & Bridge People Technology Solutions jointly organized a Webinar Session on Grammarly on 16th November 2022 (Wednesday).

Central Library, NISER & Wiley jointly organized an Author Workshop on "Winning the Game of Publishing" on 31st August 2022 (Wednesday).
Target Audience: Faculty, Research Scholars, Integrated MSc (4th Year & 5th Year) & Scientific Officers of NISER.
About the Event: This workshop will deal with journal aims, scope, and instructions for authors. Authors will understand more about assessing subject matter relevance of journals, their readership, visibility and impact. The workshop will also discuss the components of a complete and impressive submission package.
