Children below ten years must be accompanied by their parents/guardians to visit the children's library.

Dependents of faculty/staff (NISER employees) visiting the library should carry any identity card or health card (CHSS) indicating their relationship with the NISER employee.

Books will only be issued to the NISER employee's account, and an email notification will be sent to the concerned employee upon checkout.

The library operates on an "open access system," allowing children to browse and refer to books directly from the shelves.

Children are not permitted to bring personal belongings or books into the library.

Failure to return books by the due date will result in overdue charges of five rupees per day per book.

Marking, underlining, or writing on library materials is strictly prohibited.

If a book is misused, mishandled, or lost, the responsible NISER employee must replace the book(s) or pay four times the current cost of the book(s).

Members are responsible for the care of library furnishings and equipment. Any used reading or learning materials should be properly returned or handed over to library staff.

Food and beverages are not allowed in the library.

Please register your in-time and out-time during visits to the children's library.
