I am an Assistant Professor at NISER Bhubaneshwar.

My research revolves around the topolgy and geometry of the Moduli of Curves. The Moduli of Curves parametrizes algebraic curves or Riemann surfaces upto isomorphisms. It has been a central topic in mathematical research for several decades and brings various fields of mathematics together, for example Algebraic Geometry, Geometric Group theory and Teichmüller theory. It has important connections with physics aswell.
