About the conference

Bridging the bench and the bedside

ICTR, organized by the Indian Society for Translational Research (ISTR), brings together researchers, clinicians, innovators, industry leaders, policymakers, and students from across the globe to share ideas, build collaborations, and explore emerging frontiers in translational science — accelerating the journey from laboratory discoveries to real-world solutions.

The 9th edition is hosted by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, and centres on the theme "Translational Research for One Health: Bridging Discovery, Innovation and Sustainable Futures." The scientific program spans precision medicine, cancer biology, infectious and non-communicable diseases, neuroscience, regenerative medicine, genomics, artificial intelligence, digital health, agricultural biotechnology, sustainable food systems, and the bioeconomy — aligning with national initiatives including One Health, BioE3, Genome India, Digital Health, and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Who can attend ICTR 2026?

Researchers, clinicians, students, and industry professionals working across translational biomedical research are welcome.

Is accommodation and food provided on campus?

Accommodation will be provided based on first come first serve basis. Please fill the registration form accordingly if you wish to avail accommodation. Food will be provided to all the registered individuals.

Can I submit an abstract after the deadline?

Submission of forms after the deadline will lead to invalidation of the registration.

How to reach the venue?

By air: The nearest airport is Biju Patnaik International Airport, about 30 km from NISER. From there, you can take local transport, popular ride-hailing services, or the regional AMA bus service.

By train: The nearest railway station is Khordha Road Junction, about 5 km from NISER, from where local transport is available. Alternatively, if you arrive at Bhubaneswar Railway Station, NISER is about 36 km away.

Am I required to Register first before Abstract submission?

Yes, you have to register first before submitting the Abstract. Failing to do so, will lead to invalidation of your submitted Abstract evaluation.

Where do I submit the Abstract for Poster or Oral Presentation?

Both poster and oral presentation abstracts are to be submitted through the same Google Forms link given in the Abstracts section. Please refer to that section for submission of the desired form.
