  • We are looking for motivated graduate students, postdoctoral scholars and project assistants to work extensively towards synthesis of new functional materials using Ion beams, lithography and chemical processes, study their photonic and light interaction properties and implement those schemes in state-of-the-art miniaturization. We also need to develop the Matlab codes and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) code to understand the the origin of different properties of materials and design new materials for frontier technologies. Students with valid CSIR-NET/UGC-NET/JEST/GATE score can join the group through NISER’s Ph.D candidate selection process. For postdostoral position and project assistantship, please write directly to the concerned faculty member in response to relevant advertisements whenever they are published. Undergraduate students with INSPIRE, KVPY or similar fellowships can write directly to the concerned faculty members for summer research studentship.
