The International Union of Microbiologists chapter of Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi will be conducting a one-day Symposium on: “Host-Pathogen Interactions” at NISER
Infectious diseases in plants and animals are a consequence of complex interactions between Pathogens with their respective Hosts. Emergence of novel technologies leading to increasing understanding of biology, immunology and genomes of hosts as well as pathogens have offered insights into interactions between pathogens and hosts. The one-day Symposium is aimed at imparting conceptual aspects of such complex interactions in different models – humans, mice, fish and insects.
This one day symposium is jointly conducted by INSA and NISER to promote interdisciplinary research
