About The Event

The International Conference on Emerging Materials (ICEM-2025), along with the 36th AGM of MRSI & 7th Indian Materials Conclave, will be organized by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar in association with IOP Bhubaneswar, IIT Bhubaneswar, IISER Berhampur, SOA University, KIIT University from 17th to 20th December 2025. A special Pre-Conference workshop (for limited participants) on the topic 'Advanced Materials Characterizations' will be held at IISER Berhampur on 16th December 2025. We are looking forward to welcoming you to NISER Bhubaneswar - a beautiful campus near the historic Barunei hill, on the eastern coast of the country, within 50 km of the golden beach of Puri and Shri Jagannath Temple. This conference aims to gather the leading researchers, eminent speakers, students, and industry experts, making it an ideal platform for sharing and exchanging scientific knowledge and innovative ideas.

  • Limited Travel Support (sleeper class/ third AC train fare only) is available for student participants from Indian universities/colleges only. REFUND POLICY:
  • There is a cancellation charge of ₹1,000 / $50 for Indian affiliated participants and foreign participants respectively for processing refunds against conference registration.
  • Requests for refunds must be received by 15 Nov 2025.

ACCOMMODATION:
  • Student accommodation may be available in hostels / guest houses of nearby institutes (from which transportation will be provided).
  • Faculty / other attendees' accommodation may be available in Flatlet / Guest House at NISER and neighboring institutes, depending on availability.
  • Hotels in Bhubaneswar or around NISER may be availed at your own cost.

  • From Bhubaneswar (BBI) Airport: Prepaid Taxi/Ola/Uber/Auto are available. The one-way fare is ~ ₹600 - ₹1,000.
