Rules and Regulation for Using Imaging facility (Confocal Microscope)
- Dr. Chandan Goswami (Biology) and Dr. Subhadip Ghosh (Chemistry) are the coordinators for confocal imaging. So for imaging, please contact them in advance.
- No students and PIs are allowed to use confocal of their own unless they are trained and certified by coordinators.
- Tuesday and Wednesday of every week are booked for Chemistry department.
- All other days of every week are booked for Biology Department.
- If some date is free and not in use, then regular users can use it. However, this can be done only after log on to the system at least 30 minutes before using it.
E-booking and cancellation for confocal use
Those who are intended to use the microscope are requested to send their gmail id to Dr. Chandan Goswami (for users from school of Biology users) or to Dr. Subhadip Ghosh (for users from school of Chemistry), so that we can register it. Once registration is done, one can book/cancel the slot by themselves using their own gmail id.

The booking should be done in well advanced (Generally 7 days in advance) and online. Once booked, but unable to use, people are requested to cancel the slots and dates in advance so that others can use that time.
