The international Satellite Conference on Harmonic analysis (SATEHA_ICM2010), is going to be organized by NISER, Bhubaneswar. It forms part of scientifc programs of the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) 2010, Hyderabad. The twin objectives of the conference are to create an occasion to the delegates who generally work in Harmonic analysis to have a long lasting collaboration in future and to generate an enthusiasm among the aspiring young Indian researchers towards Harmonic analysis.

Bhubaneswar, the capital of Orissa, one of the states of India, gained the name "Temple City of India" because of more than 100 temples which dot its landscape. Bhubaneswar along with Puri and Konark, form the glorious golden temple triangle of the Eastern India. The modern city of Bhubaneswar was designed by the German architect Otto Knigsberger in 1946 and is well connected by air, rail and road to the rest of India. National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) is a newly established, premier research institution in India that operates under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and strives to become a center of Excellence in science education and research in four basic sciences viz., Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics and in related areas.

The conference will be on the following three broad areas of harmonic analysis.

1. Abstract Harmonic Analysis.
2. Harmonic analysis on Homogeneous spaces.
3. Euclidean and Combinatorial harmonic analysis.
