I am a theoretical physicist with the School of Physical Sciences at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) in Jatni, Odisha, India.

I was educated in India primarily in Calcutta and Bangalore. I studied Physics at Presidency college (now University) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).

Before coming to NISER I spent my post-doctoral years working at the Max-Planck-Institute for Physics of Complex Systems (MPIPKS), in Dresden and the Department of Physics at the Technion, in Israel.
