Applications of Systems and Mathematical Biology in Stress, Microbiome & Probiotics

Welcome to the homepage of international workshop-cum-conference on applications of systems and mathematical biology in the areas of stress, microbiome and probiotics (ASMB-SGMP). ASMB-SGMP has two parts, 1st part is workshop on next generation sequencing (NGS) and genome wide transcriptomics and the 2nd part is a conference jointly organized by National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) and Probiotics Association of India (PAi). The workshop is being organised with the objective of building a critical mass in India in the areas of systems and mathematical biology. We are starting the program with the mandate of introducing concepts of systems and mathematical biology to newcomers in the field. By this, we mean that participants do not need to have any background in mathematics, because we understand biologists need mathematics but many biologists (students and researchers) may not have sufficient background.

Researchers who are working in the areas of stress, microbiome and probiotics and/or have interests in the areas of public health, systems biology and those who need to apply tools of mathematical biology should enrol in the workshop-cum-workshop. Please note that the seats are limited and deadline is approaching fast. So please rush to register.

This workshop is the second of a series of three workshops. The first one was held at NISER on public health. We got a very good response and hope that we would be eventually build a critical mass who would take biology research to a different level.mass who would take biology research to a different level. Workshop will be followed by the 3rd biennial conference of PAi.
